Barbershoppers from all over are invited to participate in this fun event.Click Flyer to EnlargeOn the evening of Monday, August 14th, the Sacramento RiverCats (baseball team) will be having Barbershop Harmony Day out at Raley Fields. Voices of California will be singing the National Anthem and will do a short performance from the field right before game time. Our Director, Gabe Caretto, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. We are reaching out to barbershoppers from all over Northern California to come help us make the 14,000 attendees at the game EXTREMELY aware of what barbershop harmony is and that there are opportunities for them to sing right in their own backyard or to attend our shows.In order for Barbershop Harmony Day to occur, we need to sell 200 tickets on our own to barbershoppers, families and friends. Here's where you come in: in addition to just attending the game and enjoying some good singing, we want to provide YOU a chance to be part of the performing and for YOUR chorus (whether male or female) to get some publicity. If you can get together a group of at least 10 folks that will buy tickets and come to the game, we'd love to have you out on the field during the 7th inning stretch, singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame with our massed chorus of barbershoppers.
