Oct. 12, 2018 (FRESNO, Calif.) — Harmony Platoon kicked off the FWD Fall Convention with events held Thursday afternoon and evening, and again on Friday morning.

On Thursday, the Harmony Platoon members gathered together at the DoubleTree hotel for a warm-up and short rehearsal of their repertoire, and then ventured out for the afternoon and performed as a chorus to the delight of residents at two senior centers in the Fresno community.

Thursday evening featured the first "Luck of the Draw" contest, with everyone getting a chance to compete in several foursomes. Pictured below is the winning combination, "The Next Guys" L-R: Glen Davis (T), Ed Bostrum (L), Bob Standfast (Bs), and Antwun Puckett (Ba).

An afterglow followed the contest, when other members attending the convention joining in for fun and more singing into the night.

Friday featured another "Luck of the Draw" contest. Pictured below are L-R Vic Guden (Ba), Logan Patrick-Miernicki (L), Antwun Puckett (Bs), and Jay Pryor (T), members of a quartet known as "A Good Day" who took top honors in Day 2 at the Fall Harmony Platoon.

It should be noted that Antwun sang in the winning quartet on both days – first day as a baritone, second day as bass!
