Oct. 14, 2023 (GILBERT, Ariz.)—The Far Western District Fall contests were held today at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts in Gilbert. It was a sensational contest, and the judges all remarked at the high level of singing across the board.
FOUR (4) Choruses qualified for the 2024 International contest in Cleveland this coming July; techincally five choruses qualified based on score, but one chorus did not choose to enter the international qualification preliminary. Quartet champion "Yes Dear" also won the Lloyd Steinkamp Standing "O" award.
Special C&J awards were bestowed upon Brent Graham and Chris Hebert. Howard Donelly was this year's Fall Convention Honoree.
